Baseball Camp

Last week, Drew spent his mornings at a baseball camp in Frisco. It was put on by Stonebriar Community Church, which is in Frisco, so it was about a 45 minute drive for us each day. Totally worth it!! He had a blast and learned a lot too. On Saturday, it was Family Day, so we all went to go and check out what he had been up to throughout the week. They also had some special guests there, but I will get to that after some action photos of Drew...






The girls had their own fun too. Sometimes they were watching, but most of the time they were bug hunting and making "homes" for their bugs. Abby also shared her snack with the Rolie-Polie Lizzy found...



Abby had fun playing a little baseball herself...


Then at the end of the morning, a special guest arrived. Jason Jennings, a pitcher from the Texas Rangers! He gave his testimony about he had come to know Jesus and then answered questions the kids had about baseball and faith. It was pretty cool! He also signed baseballs for all the kids, and Sam and Drew had him sign their gloves and Ranger's caps.



And to end the day, Duece, the Mascot for the Frisco Rough Rider's came to hang with the kids and families. The Rough Riders are a AA team and Lizzy LOVES Deuce. Abby, not so much. In fact, she is totally petrified of him! That's why she is not in these pictures...




What a great week for Drew! It was fun to watch you buddy...good job!! We're proud of you!!

Bust a Move! and a Little Dress Up/Lawn Mowing

The kids always have a blast dancing in our small living room!! It usually always involves some sort of hat and sunglasses, tonight was no exception! Abby also had on her fancy shoes and they were bustin' a move to the Jonah soundtrack. The picture is quiet, but our living room was not!

Earlier this morning, Abby was dressing up to mow the apartment! She LOVES shoes and glasses and her lawn mower...it's a pretty cute combo! She had some intersting looks on her face in these first two pictures...




I love you kiddos! I am glad that I get to spend each day with you!! =)

Christmas in June?

Sam is asking for an early Christmas present...he wants his 2 front teeth! =)



He was being kind of goofy when I was trying to take his picture, but they definitely captured his "toothless-ness"! He even pulled the first one out himself...and received $8.00 altogether for both teeth!! The "tooth fairy" has really started paying out...=)

Summer II!

Summer!

Yay for water and sun!! And Yay for having a camera again...we have been without one for 6 weeks! I barely saw the boys yesterday at the pool, so I will have to post some pictures of them soon. We are swimming nearly everyday, as the temperature is consistent...98, 99, 99, 97, 95, 96, 98...you get the picture! I'll have to post some popsicle pictures soon too! I LOVE summer!

Take Me Out to the Ball Game...

and GO RANGERS!!! With summer here again, baseball season is back in full swing and our family is loving every minute of it! Our first trip to the Rangers Game was with grandma and grandpa in mid-April...



Lizzy is absolutely in love with the Rangers mascot!!

Shortly after our trip to Ranger's stadium with grandma and grandpa, Drew decided that this is what he would like to do for his birthday...instead of having a party. We brought our good family friend, Brian, with us. This was a Friday night game and this year on Friday's there is an AMAZING fireworks show following each game! It was a very fun night!!




Since then, we signed our boys up to be Jr. Rangers. It's a great deal, for $15 you get a ball cap, back pack and 8 vouchers to selected home games, and the adults with you get their tickets for 1/2 price!! It's a pretty sweet deal if your a baseball lovin' family! =)

Last Sunday was a Jr. Ranger game and the boys and Lizzy got to run the bases after the game. Brent said he felt like a kid as he ran around with them...I truly think he enjoyed it most! We look forward to more ball games this summer...and I am SO thankful to have something that we ALL enjoy TOGETHER so much!!! =)
