A Great Memory!

Tonight I am starting the project of putting all of our family's 2011 home videos onto DVD's. As I have been going through the clips, I have enjoyed watching back happenings the big and small over the past year. One of my favorites is the night Sam, Drew and I watched the Ranger's win the ALCS in Game 6 at Ranger's stadium. The following video is a short clip from our celebrating after they won...



SO MUCH FUN!!!! Such a wonderful memory with my boys!! What a gift that game was!

We are ready for Ranger's baseball to start up again soon...hopefully they get back there again this year!!

Last night before the never ending spring thunderstorms hit (they seriously lasted all night long and are still going now) Sam's team played about 40 minutes of their first pre-season tournament game. Here is Sam's only at bat...I finally captured a GREAT one on video...



A few minutes later we were running to our cars to escape the coming storms. It is no small feat with my little tribe and all of the cargo that comes with them! :) But we made it and I am looking forward to this game picking up where it left off. I love a good thunderstorm, but I love baseball more. So I am ready for the skies to clear up and the fields to dry up so we can get back to the game!

Picnic At the Park

This past week we had spring break. On one of the warm, overcast days the kids and I grabbed some Sonic and spent a couple of hours at a park in our neighborhood. Daniel even ate some fries with the kids...


A couple of our friends kiddos joined us after we ate and so once they arrived my big kids were too far off for photos!! Daniel played with his buzz car...



And then I put him in the swing. He LOVES to swing as you all witnessed in my last post. But at the park I found that he REALLY loves to swing and be kissed. He belly laughed and belly laughed as I did this with each swing. So I called Sam over from playing to record Daniel swinging and laughing...



The laughter of my children is one of my favorite sounds on the planet. Thank you Sam for recording this...and for taking a bow! ;-)

Tournament Winners!

Today I spent the day watching Sam play baseball. His team was in a tournament here in North Texas and they ended up winning the whole thing!!

Yesterday Sam was hitting the ball like crazy when his daddy was there to watch. One of these days I am determined to get one of my boys' big hits on video!! :-)
