Baseball Friends
Some of our dear friends from DTS came up to watch the boys play baseball. And my boys always enjoy having people there to watch them play. Here they are with the other kiddos and Brent at Drew's game...

My Two Lefty's
We have two left handed pitchers in the house...
Drew...

And Sam...

They both play for the Athletics (on different teams), they both are #5, they both are great left handed pitchers and they both play catcher or 1st base when they are not pitching.
And they both have a mom who LOVES to watch them play (a daddy too!)!!
I love you boys and I am so proud of you...On and off the field!

Toby Mac and the Rangers!!
Are you kidding me?? Could there be a better combination!?! What a fun, fun, SUPER fun day this made for me to spend with my two oldest boys...

Not to mention we arrived super early and were some of the first to enter the ballpark concert area, so the boys and I were 10 feet from Toby Mac!!!! Pure awesomeness.

Toby passed right by us as he headed back to the stage after performing a few songs on a platform in the middle of the crowd...

And then after the concert we still had 9 innings of the Rangers to enjoy. They lost 3-2, but it was a beautiful day to be out at the ball park.

It was such a great day. Brent was home with the 3 little people and they had plenty of fun of their own. I think that MOM may have enjoyed the concert even more than my two Toby Mac fans!! ;-) I am just a wee bit hoarse.

Laughing with Drew
Daniel thought it was so funny when Drew would spin the wheel in this book. I love both of their laughs!! Sweet, sweet moments!

Friends and the Rangers
Just two weeks ago two dear friends came to visit. Not only did I get to enjoy their company, but I also was able to share with them one of my FAVORITE things about Texas...the RANGERS!! :-)
The game that Lynn and I attended was soooo disappointing as "my boys" were beat...and beat badly. SO bad that the stadium cleared out early. This was not all bad as Lynn and I upgraded our seats and moved into seats right next to the Rangers dugout. Right next to the Rangers dugout. Right next to the Rangers dugout. In case you didn't catch that I said RIGHT NEXT to the Rangers dugout. It was sweet. I could hear Mitch M popping his bubbles on first base. Totally sweet. I love my Rangers!! Here we are together at the game....

And this is Mitch...the infamous "Bubble popper"...the bubbles that I could hear popping because you guessed it...I was right next to the Rangers dugout! Ha! :-)

And then just a few days later I was able to take my friend Shawn along with my big boys. And boy did "my boys" play a great game that night!! 5 home runs! Fireworks with each! And a wonderfully satisfying 11-5 win!! WOOHOOOO!! Here are all the happy Rangers fans at the game...

As I said, I love my Rangers! And I LOVE my friends!! Thank you ladies for a wonderful time!!!

And remember we were..."right next to the Rangers dugout"...I totally made eye contact with CJ Wilson! :-) He is Sam's favorite pitcher.

This evening we had our 2nd annual Easter dinner at Maggiano's (an Italian Family Style dining restaurant). We all got dressed up in our Easter clothes and headed out. There was so much good food, lots of laughing, and many memories made...

I love my family and enjoyed this time out together immensely. Thank you Lord for the opportunity and for a great family meal together!

A Fun Visit
I still have catching up to do with the pictures from the week with my dear friends Lynn and Shawn, BUT just yesterday Aaron (Lynn's husband) left after a quick, fun filled 2 day visit. So I thought I would stay current and work my way back! :-)
Shortly after he arrived, he blessed us with some sweet gifts...SO fun and SO special!!!

Aaron and Daniel getting to know each other...they were fast friends...:-)

Aaron was able to see one of Sammy's baseball games. Sam had a great play at home plate!

Buddies...

Saying good-bye is never fun, but the time we spent together most definitely was. Here is Aaron with everyone before he left...

Thank you for coming to visit Aaron!! We all love you and were blessed by the time spent with you!
