Drew's SEVEN!!

Where DOES the time GO?? How can it be that my Drew-Drew (as we have called him forever) could be 7? We had a fun celebration of his life over the weekend with a "friends" Dinosaur theme party. He wanted to have a sleepover, but this mama was not ready for that yet! So we compromised and his friends got to stay over later (about 9:30pm) and watch a movie. We used the fireside room and had a fun time!! Grandma and Grandpa were able to join us too!

We hade a great celebration on his actual birthday on Tuesday too! It started with the traditional presents by the door, lunch at the dining hall on campus with grandma and grandpa (where his dad stood up and had everybody sing Happy Birthday!), and supper at the Rainforest Cafe. At the Rainforest, he used birthday money to stuff a crocodile (Build-a-Bear) and had all of us say "happy 7th birthday Drew" for the recording. He also got to drink from the "light" up souvenir cup that he has had his eye on for a couple of years!:) All in all I think he had a great birthday! He did miss some of his friends from back in ND...but a special answering machine message helped this too!!

We LOVE you Drew!! You are such a wonderfully spirited, passionate, awesome boy! We thank God that he gave you to us...what a GREAT gift you are to us and to our family!
