An Interesting TWIST to the Story...

Yesterday I was finally able to get the mail (our mail key was also in the stolen purse) because I met the mailman at the boxes. Anyway, one of the many envelopes had no name or return address. As I opened it, I was shocked...it was my driver's license! We are still wondering how that happened. Did the thief mail it back? Or did someone find it and mail it back? If someone found it, why didn't they sick a note in and why wasn't it in my wallet? Hmmm...it's a mystery to us. BUT, I am glad to have my license back, so that I do not have to stand in line and pay to get a new one!! I would never have imagined this happening...how about you??

How BIZARRE that your driver's license was returned to you...but nothing else was and no note or anything accompanied it! That is very interesting!

I am very thankful that you got that back...that is great news! Hope that you are enjoying your weekend, my friend!

Glad to see that you got your license back. How weird is that, but a good twist to your awful day.

Oh, what a weird thing to have happen!?! You would think that if someone other then the robber found it they would've included a little note! And if it was the robber, maybe next week you'll get your social security card!

I lost my license on our honeymoon to Hawaii. Luckily, it was before 911 and was able to fly back without it, with just minor cajoling. Anyway, I ended up getting it in the mail too. Someone found it on the beach and took it to the Kuai police and they mailed it back. There was no note just an officil form from the pd. Glad u got yours back.
Hate that your SS card is gone. Mine was stolen in Dallas too - and still often wonder about that. Oh well.

I'm so sorry for all that has been going on, Jaci!

Forgive me for my "lack" of checking your blog...I have been horrible about keeping up with what's been going on these past few weeks.

I am praying for continued resolution (maybe other items will be returned to you, as well!), for PEACE, and for God to use this awful experience in a GOOD way for you and your family.

Sending hugs...
