On Saturday we returned from our 2nd annual trip (although technically we never actually left the metro-plex) to the Great Wolf Lodge! For those of you who are not familiar, this is a HUGE hotel with a really cool indoor/outdoor waterpark. There had been a countdown going on at our house since last year...but it became intense once Christmas was over. To say the kids were excited would be an understatement. The excitement and enthusiasm of our kiddos was by far my favorite part of the time away. I had SO much fun watching our kids have fun. Our days were filled with...LOTS of laughing, LOTS of swimming, LOTS of sliding, LOTS of junk food and NOT A LOT of sleep for mom and dad! =) We all had a great time...here are the "favorites" according to the kids...

The boys were tall enough and brave enough this year to ride all of the "Big" slides. Brent and I were excited about this and took turns riding with them. It was so fun...especially the Howlin' Tornado...I laughed, without sound, the entire time. =) So, so fun!! Here is a picture of it from outside the hotel...the red and yellow one is the Tornado. I may record Brent doing his impersonations of the boys' face the first time they were on the tornado. He does it well...and it is so funny.
We plan to make this our yearly "vacation" while in seminary. Thank you Lord for the great, great time we had together!
