I met with my urologist on Tuesday, (nothing like waiting a month to know what is going to happen!) and he said that my IVP looked completely, 100%, totally NORMAL. He said they couldn't even see the ureteroceles. Apparently with this specific of test they should have been able to. As for the "masses" on my bladder, they couldn't be seen either. His conclusion? No surgery needed at this time. Praise the Lord!! I am so thankful for that!! After having the cystoscopy the last time we met, he hadn't made surgery sound optional.
He did tell me that a trip to my OBGYN is not optional though. He wants me to have another ultrasound and follow up according to what this doctor says. It is possible that if they still see these "masses" that my OBGYN may want to biopsy or further evaluate, but that from a urological perspective there is nothing that he would do. And he said, "That is good news." He obviously felt the IVP would show something that it did not, so for that I am grateful! Just one more round of tests, a different doctor, a little more waiting, and hopefully I will be "doctor free" for awhile.
THANK YOU FOR PRAYING!! God is faithful and because of His faithfulness I am hanging in there baby!!
