More Birthday Celebration

What does a 2 year old birthday look like? Well, I am sure they vary from child to child, but with our Abby Grace simple, small, and Hello Kitty were in order. Abby is very shy, which you probably noticed if you watched the video of us singing to her, so we didn't want to overwhelm her with a party. All she wanted to do was go swimming, eat chicken strips with french fries and have Kitty Cake! And that is exactly what we did!

As we were eating our dinner by the pool, Brent had the idea of interviewing each person in our family about something they love about Abby. The one that is shown here is our 3rd take. We had limited recording time on the camera, and kept running short. In this case, the third time really was the charm!

Here is a glimpse of what a 2 year old birthday looked like at our house!

We ended our day of celebrating with chocolate cake and ice cream.

We love you Abby Grace! Thank you Lord for our precious little girl! Happy, Happy Birthday!

What fun videos and pictures! My boys loved watching the videos! Luke kept saying."More..more!"
I just developed the pictures of our kiddos together when you were here. As soon as I figure out how to email photos from my new camera I will send them to you! They turned out really cute. It sure was great seeing you guys!

Hi Jaci,
Do you remember me? My daughter was Abby's "Santa" your first Christmas here in Dallas, right before Abby's surgery. I visited you in the hospital. My name is Lisa Holmes. I was just thinking about you because we are emptying a couple of storage units tomorrow and I was wondering if you, or any of your seminarian friends, might need some furniture. We have various and sundry things, including a couple of single beds that were my girls'. We'd be happy to pass things along. If you or anyone you know could use some of these things, please let me know asap. (Storing them is an issue!) We will have a UHaul tomorrow, so we could help get things transported tomorrow too.

Your pictures on the blog show a beautiful, happy family! Abby looks amazing!! I do hope you are all doing well!
