The boys both had tournaments this weekend. And they both played in different cities. This made for one busy weekend! Saturday is always pool play where they play 2 games to determine their seed, and then on Sunday they play until they lose. Both of their teams did very well this past weekend, so we had 12 baseball games in 2 days. Sam's team made it to the finals. Their game ended in a sudden death inning (because there was a tie) and they ended up losing. But it was so fun. And Sam hit his first ball out. He smashed it 30 feet past the fence and it landed in the crick. So much fun!! Way to go Sammy!!! :-) One of the dad's retrieved the ball for us, so he has his first out of the park homerun ball. Awesome!
During the championship game, our team was changing pitchers and this is what the boys did all on their own while they waited...
Love seeing them huddled together to pray. Love that.

Yay Sammy! WOW! Hit one right out of the park! You must have been so excited! We can just picture you jogging around the bases! Can't wait to see your baseball-congratulations!
