Run for PHun 2013

This was such an awesome morning. We had prayed and prayed for no rain.  And the night before the race there was a 70% chance of rain in Denver.  It had been raining the entire 3 days we had been there.  We are so grateful the Lord held back the rain.  About 7 minutes after the race finished it started to rain again.

Here Daniel is just before we were getting ready to leave for the run, sporting his 2013 "Team Daniel" T-shirt for the first time.

His sisters were ready!  They both worked hard to be in shape for race day!

Big Brothers are ready too!

Our family picture before the race...

We saw many of our friends, health care friends, and family before the race got started.  Here is Dr. Ivy's Nurse Practitioner with us.  We just love Beth!

We saw some clowns....I am not really sure what Daniel thought of them!  :)

Grandmas Monica was there to walk for Team Daniel.  Thank you for being so supportive of us!  We love you!

My friend Ellie was able to come and run with us.  She is living in the area now that her husband took a job with Focus on the Family.  Hopefully she will be back next year!!!  Such a sweet surprise and so very encouraging!!

Some of the team members from Compassion International.  My friend Sheri brought her whole family.  SO awesome!  I cried when I saw them all.

The boys are at the front ready to run...

All of the big kids ran at their own pace.  I ran with Lizzy and Brent ran with Abby and Daniel in the BOB (jog stroller) When Brent got about 30 yards from the finish line he stopped and all of the rest of us who had finished rejoined Daniel.  Then we all crossed the finish line together.

There are so many emotions that go into a moment like this one....
I love my family so much.  And we all love our little buddy.  SO proud of the these people!!
And I am so proud of our other family and friends that ran and walked for Team Daniel.  Thank you!!  We love you!  And thank you Uncle Terry for going back and getting the forgotten sign.  You should have received a medal for that!!!!

My Aunt Kathy made this awesome poster with all of the people/families who raced with or donated to Team Daniel.  Thank you to all of you who supported our son!!!

I think Daniel likes it!
Sammy finished 1st in his age group!!  Awesome job buddy!

 My love.

Daniel with wonderful Dr. Ivy!  They were laughing about something!!  :)

Two of the ladies Sheri and Shelby also placed first in their age groups.  Here is Sam with them!  Three 1st place finishers from Team Daniel!!  Woo-Hoo!!  Great job guys!

The girls snuggled up with Beth during the talk inside the Pavilion. She is and awesome nurse to Daniel and just an awesome person too.

There are MANY more pictures from the morning.  I hope to put a video together soon.  THANK YOU to all who have prayed for, cheered for, ran for, donated to, cared for Team Daniel over the years!  Mornings like this one encourage us more than words can say.  Go Team Daniel!!!!  :)
