Hey all! I am thrilled to say that Abby is doing awesome! She nursed well this morning and as I type is being unhooked from all of her lines. Her blood levels stayed up, so she hasn't needed any transfusions. She will have her blood checked again now and if the levels haven't dropped she will not need them checked again! This would mean NO transfusions:-) Yeah!!And she looks AMAZING. Wow. The incision is so perfect and so "well stitched"...its just amazing. It is fun that they didn't shave her head too...she just looks great! She is pretty swollen, but we expected this and it will go down with time. In 3 weeks or so it will be mostly gone.

SO glad to hear that she is doing well...I am SO thankful for that! I hope that the day is just getting better for her! I too am so glad to hear that she didn't need any blood transfusions! We are rejoicing with you! Sending more hugs! :-)
What wonderful news! Abby and your family were on my mind all day yesterday. I was going to call Grandma Monica tonight, but she beat me to the punch and left a voicemail today. I will let people know up here that things are looking good. I am getting package ready to send to the kids in honor of birthdays, Christmas and Abby's recovery. Love, Kathy
