The Pirate's Who Don't Do Anything...

Is a GREAT movie!:-) On Friday Brent worked 3-10...so I asked him if I could surprise the boys with a "field trip" to see the new Veggie Tale movie at noon. When I received the green light we were off!! It had been a long time since the kiddos has been to a movie in the theater...Curious George was the last one I think. So anyway, they each had $5 along with them to buy WHATEVER snack they wanted. Boy were they excited and boy did I ever think their eyes were going to "pop" out if their heads as they were looking at all of the choices before them at the concession stand. Well, Sam chose a BIG bag of Skittles and Drew chose a BIG box of mini-butterfingers. Both were LARGE quantities, but it was a BIG treat and not an everyday occurrence, so I tried to "let go" of how unhealthy this was. So we got our treats and headed for theater #7. After we were comfy and had watched the previews, I looked at Drew and said "How are those Butterfingers?". He looked at me and said "UHHH...I already ate them all". This was followed by my cackling laughter...I could not stop. There must have been 20 mini Butterfingers bars in there...consumed in less than 10 minutes. Only my Drew-Drew:-). It is a memory that is forever burned in my mind! Sam did finish his big bag of Skittles too...but his lasted thru the movie.:-) We also had many great Laughs during the movie...we Highly recommend it! What a great date this was with my boys... I love you guys!:-)
