Last Day of Fall Baseball (Day 41)

After spending last night at the ballpark, Daniel, Sam, Drew and I (my friend Barbie came and watched the girls and Brent had to work) spent all morning at the ballpark too! This time it was for Drew. His team, "The Scrappers" made it through the first round of playoffs earlier in the week and so they had their 2nd play off game at 9 this morning. They won that game too!! So the Scrappers made it to the Championship game. Drew pitched all of both games and did a great job. The Scrappers ended up losing the championship game 7-5, but the whole team played the best they ever had!! It was so fun to watch and I am proud of all of those boys!!

Shortly after we arrived at the ballpark this morning I noticed that I forgot to put my memory card back in the camera last night. So no video of Drew. :-( So bummed about that. But thankfully my friend Maureen took some great pictures of the boys today. Here are the 2nd place Scrappers...

Drew was given the "game ball" for doing such a good job pitching...

And they all received trophy's for being the runner up...so cool!

We're proud of you Drew!! Daniel and I can't wait until we get to watch you play again this spring. Looking much like this...as it will be cold when they start in March...

Okay, maybe not exactly like this! :-) I just couldn't use the same photo from last night...but because I did not have a memory card I do not have a new picture. So that goofy one from last night at Sam's game will have to do for today.

Have I ever mentioned that I LOVE baseball. So glad it is played 9 months out of the year down south! :-)
