A Day With The Rangers

Our dear friends gave us tickets to the Ranger's game today, and although they lost, three of my kiddos and myself had a great day at the ballpark. It was CJ Wilson Red and Blue glove give away day. So the first 10,000 kids 13 and under received a glove. Pretty cool. Drew, Sam, Abby and I were the lucky ones who got to go. Lizzy has been having a hard time with her asthma and was needing frequent treatments or we would have brought her along with us.

We had the unexpected blessing of having some of our dear family friends attending the game today too. In about the 6th inning they came down from where thay were sitting to join us...

The kids are also Jr. Rangers, so on Sunday afternoons they get to be in a special line up of kiddos to run the bases. Everyone can run the bases on Sunday, but Jr. Rangers get to be in the front of the line. Abby was SO excited to do this as it was her first time. Here we are waiting...

And here they are running...

And in front of the visitors dugout...

It was such a great, hot afternoon at Rangers Ballpark. I cannot wait for the day that our whole family gets to attend a game together. But right now without an air conditioned suite or something it just will not work to bring Daniel out for a game. I do hope we get the opportunity to do this sometime. We love the Rangers in case you missed that before! :-) And I love doing things with my whole family...Brent, Lizzy and Daniel were definitely missed today.
