Look Who's Taking A Bath Now...

Daniel!






On the days that we do the dressing changes for his central line, we have been giving Daniel a chance to splash around and play in the bath. We put 2 aquaguards over his central line dressing to keep it as dry as possible and it has been working out well. He LOVES the bath. I really do not know a toddler that does not like to play in bath water. It is so nice to give him this chance.

Brent usually sits on the edge of the tub holding the medicine pump and line. His years of fishing and having to have just the right tension on the line have come in handy for Daniel's baths and acrobatic diving skills he displays in the water. He literally just dives and rolls. He LOVES putting his face in the water. All of his older siblings gather to watch him play. They know that this is special too and celebrate the fact that he can play in the tub. The sound of their cheering an his laughing and then their laughing at his bubble beards is so precious. It is moments like these where I realize that not only have Brent and I learned to celebrate the most simple moments of life, but our kiddos have too. They see the bath as a gift to Daniel. And every time he gets in they celebrate his opportunity.

They love their little buddy.

And I love all of them so much.
