Fall baseball is almost over. It is hard to believe it will soon be November. These pictures are of Drew, as a little over a week ago Sam hurt his elbow in a bike accident. After the radiologist report, on a series of elbow X-rays, we were told he had broken it. Then a trip to the orthopedic doctor the next day revealed that he had not broken it. The "chunk of bone" (avulsion) the radiologist had reported was actually cartilage. The orthopedic doctor said Sam would be much more uncomfortable during his physical exam if his elbow was indeed broken. So that was GREAT NEWS!! But it still means that Sammy's fall baseball season has come to an end.
Drew plays first base for his team most of the time...
Daniel hangs out in the wagon (most of the time!) and eats french fries, cheetos, or Cheez It's. In this picture he staring intently at a Cheez It, sometimes I would love to hear his thoughts. :)
Again, a penny for your thoughts, Daniel?
Here is Drew getting out of the way of an inside pitch...
Getting a good lead on 2nd base...
Getting a lead on 3rd base...
Heading home to score!!
Back in the dug out with his team...
The girlies with their Friends...
Daniel being silly with daddy...
All fall it has been pretty much the same scene 2 or 3 nights each week. We all love it. I know Daniel loves the unending snacks, the girls love playing with their friends, the boys just love baseball, and Brent I love watching all of it. Sometimes Daniel gives us a run for our money...literally...but even that is a blessing, as for a long time we wondered if he would EVER walk!! :-)
