Today Daniel turned 5! I was so overcome with emotion last night as I decorated for this celebration. When he was 6 months old we had a birthday party for him, because we were unsure if he would live to see his first birthday. And now we celebrated his fifth. Words really fail to communicate how much this milestone means to me as his mommy. I am so grateful for the sweet, sweet gift of time and life!!
Daniel definitely gets excited about birthdays and presents now…so that makes it extra fun! And I still have the tradition of leaving them outside the door for when they wake up...
We ate at the Rainforest Cafe. This is by far Daniel's favorite Restaurant. He loves the monkeys and the fish! Grandma Marge was here to help us celebrate…
We had a Volcano! Daniel really does have the best brothers and sisters!
At home we had cupcakes and vanilla ice cream…Daniel's favorite! FIVE!!
And then we had a family dance party and did a little zumba! He loves Zumba!
It was such a great day. And I am just so very grateful. Thank you Jesus!
