A Sweet Day (Day 13)

Daniel is doing SO much better today. Tonight he is sitting in a hospital bumbo playing, smiling, chewing on his hands and acting like the baby we know. He's been grabbing my hair and giving big kisses...so very sweet.




It is amazing the change the last 48 hours have brought. And Our God is even more amazing! Thank you Lord, thank you!

Also today I was able to go to my big boys' baseball games. I LOVE this (in case you haven't noticed). I especially loved watching Drew's team come from behind today. In the last inning it was 9-5. Drew was pitching and he struck out 3 batters. Then his team tied the game 9-9 and Drew was up to bat with a runner on second. He was 0-2 after taking 2 huge swings. When the third pitch came he smoked a ball over the center fielders head and drove in his friend on 2nd for the "walk-off" win. And this mama went wild!! It was such a great high after a week of intense lows. Another reason to celebrate. Thank you Lord, thank you. I am one blessed mommy.
