We have a large park by our home. There are soccer fields, baseball fields, a lake, a football field, and play area. It is all on some rolling hills and so makes for an awesome place to go sledding. The boys spent a few hours there today with their friend and for awhile with Brent. Clay has a sled and he willingly shared that with us all. Later in the day, the girls and I headed out (Abby thought it was warm enough now!) and we went over to the park to do some sledding of our own. I wish I would have brought the camera with me. They were SO cute. And had never done anything like that before!! To say they loved it would be a major understatement. Here are some pictures Brent took of us girlies in front of our house...the sunset was so beautiful...
We also finished our puzzle today...
And our little champ is still hanging in there well!! He is officially over the worst part of his cold and we are so happy to see him make it through without being hospitalized!!! So happy. I gave his hair a little trim today...you can't really tell from this picture...but it was taken just after...
He has been a little "gaggy" the past few days so we have been giving him some medicine for this. It makes his eyes heavy. That is why they look that way in this picture.
The day started off a little shaky and there were many bumps along the way (just today...with various attitudes...including mine!) BUT it was a good day. With many sweet moments. Today as I watched my girls zoom down the hill and then run back up, it was another reminder of how much older they are getting. Time sure does fly. And I sure do love their sweet little giggles.
Thank you Lord for your grace. Thank you for the snow. Thank you for today.
