Father's Day

What a great day to celebrate! We spent the day at church, hitting baseballs, grilling and swimming! Brent loves baseball, and the boys and I had a blast watching him hit some balls today. That was our surprise for him and it turns out that was just what he wanted to do! My mom is here, so she was able to stay at home with the girls while they napped. I even joined in and hit a few softballs in the end.:) Here are some pictures of our hitting displays...




The boys and I thought that Brent should play baseball...but he says he is too old! I guess he is content with the batting cage. The kids will have a great teacher! Thank you Brent for being such a hands on dad. I love how you are involved in the lives of our kids. I love how you love to be with and spend time with them. I love how you are seeking to learn and to grow in knowledge of the Lord. I love how you want to leave a godly legacy as a husband and dad. We are truly blessed to have you as the daddy of our home, someone who loves us, but loves the Lord even more. Thank you for your servant heart, we love you very much!

And dad, I hope that you had a nice sleep or a good time fishing, whichever you decided to do tonight.:) We love and missed you today. It would have been fun to have you join us swimming and eating buffalo burgers! Thank you for the love, kindness, and generosity you have shown to our family. I love you! Happy Father's Day!

I am so thankful for the love of my Heavenly Father too. What an amazing thing to be a daughter of the King. I hope all of you dads that may read this had a great day! I hope that any person who reads this comes to know the reality of the love that your Heavenly Father has for you. He gave us Jesus, that we might be reconciled to Him (2 Cor. 5:18). How great the Father's love truly is for us.

"See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are." 1 John 3:1a
