So as of today at 4:00 pm it's official, Drew's in 2nd Grade and Sam is in Kindergarten! Yeah!! We have had quite the year. It has been full of ups and downs, but man does it feel great to hang in there and finish!! The boys did a great job and have learned so much this year. I am already thinking and looking forward to next year, but for now we just want to have a super fun summer!:)
The boys have become Rangers fans...Josh Hamilton fans that is...and so for their end of the school year gift, we bought them each a Josh Hamilton Rangers T-shirt! They LOVED this, as you will see in the picture. They also received a "DTS" bear, that they had their eye on at the bookstore.
For the end of the year celebration, the boys really wanted to stay up late and swim until it was dark! So that is what they did. We had a Pizza and Pool Party! Boy did we have a blast! Some of our neighbors and friends from the building were at the pool tonight too and the pool basketball hoop we brought down was the life of the party. Just look at Drew's Hang time as he ran and jumped and slam dunked the ball. It was pretty fun to watch...can you tell they had a great time?:)
What a blessing it is to have these children. I am so thankful for each of them. And even though I can feel very inadequate as their teacher sometimes, I am so glad to be spending this time teaching and training and loving on my most precious gifts! Children truly are gifts, aren't they? Thank you Lord for another great school year. I love you. And, I love you boys and girls! We'll see you next year! Hee-Hee!:)

What a FUN way to end the school year!!! :-) I know that you have such a passion and love for teaching your kids, Jaci...and I have been encouraged and blessed by your example as a mom and a teacher!

Jaci your dad here on monicas blog---it is so good to see pictures of your children playing prayin loving sharing growing---oh if life only had do over buttons but thankful it jhas the grace button---you and brent have done s tupedous job with your children, you even have learnmed to tolerate interfernce from grandpa without b lowing your cool, thankyou---i love each of you as much as can be described, ipray and give thanks to our lord for your family each day and the positive influence they have had on me--i wish i was coming with grandma wed but will see you soon--god bless each of you, love dad
Congratulations, Drew, Sam...and Jaci, too! You all made it through another school year...with flying colors, I'm sure! :-) What a blessing (and a challenge!) it is to be a part of our kid's daily lives, learning, growing, and everything that goes along with it!
We've been noticing that is has been HOT down there! What fun it must be to be swimming and enjoying the warm weather!!! :-)
Sounds like fun. i must admit, jessica and i were spying on you the other night, courtesy of google earth, and we got a nice view of campus and the swimming pool, it sure looks like fun. i hope the boys are a little easier on their teacher than i was at their age. we can't wait to see you this august, only a couple months down the road. we love you guys!
