The other day Lizzy and I were carrying our loads of clothes to the laundry room. Lizzy was running up ahead of me and "hit a patch" of cool air in the hallway. At the same time there was an unidentified noise (maybe another apartment door closing?). Anyway, I was watching her from behind and I could tell that she was a little startled. So I asked her, "Lizzy are you scared?". To which she replied, "No mom I not scared...I just pretty!":)
While we were swimming in the kiddie pool a few days ago, I noticed Lizzy was sort of squatting in the corner of the pool. She has been potty trained for a couple of months now, but she seemed to be in perfect pooping position. So I asked excitedly, "Lizzy are you pooping?" And she said, "No I not pooooopin', I just pretty mom!":)
Lizzy has been pretty grumpy and had many a tantrum today. So just a few minutes ago as she started to melt down once again, I asked her "Lizzy, WHY are you so grumpy today?" And you guessed it, she replied, "I NOT grumpy mom! I just pretty!":) I wasn't sure just what to say to that! I love you Lizzy!:)

I am sorry that Lizzy had a "grumpy" day but am glad that you can find humor in such situations. God thinks all your kids are beautiful-keep letting them know how much He loves them!! Have a great weekend. Love, Mom
