Zoo Day

It had been over two years since we had been to one of our local zoos, so today we joined some dear  friends and headed out for a warm, sunny, fun day with the animals.

 We had a picnic lunch...

 My mom is here visiting as well and so here is a picture of our little "tribe"...

And all of the sweet kids...it was hard to get everyone to look our way at the same time.  Daniel's eyes rolled back in his head is less than ideal, but what can I say?  It was the best I got!  :)

And apparently I might need to talk to Abby about appropriate camera faces when I look at the "out-takes" (Daniel had his moments too)...

Abby is quite the silly girl...she often seems so shy and quiet, but she is really warm and silly as can be. 

Oh Abigail Grace, what am I to do with you? :-)
