Daniel's 3rd Birthday!

On January 6th, 2013 Daniel turned 3!!  Wow, Praise the Lord!!  What a huge milestone for our Little Buddy.  We headed to Animal Kingdom to celebrate, as this our family's favorite Disney Park.

Daniel's favorite ride (at least what we think is his favorite) is the Safari Ride.  So we started the day with this...and WOW did we get to see some cool animals.  They were so close to us that morning, it was the best Safari Ride we have taken there, and our driver even commented on how special it was.  A rhinoceros crossed the road in front us, giraffes were right next to our car, the Lion was perched on Pride Rock...it was really amazing!

Then we headed to Tusker House to have lunch with Mickey and Friends.

Daniel just went right ahead and grabbed Mickey's nose...; )

And then gave him a high five...

 Daisy duck was lots of fun...

Daniel gave Goofy five too...

And Donald Duck greeted us when we arrived...

 Later on we met Minnie Mouse over at Camp Minnie-Mickey...

And we all enjoyed watching The Lion King again...

 The kids were asked to help lead the "Lion Section"...Pretty Cool!

Sam, Lizzy and Abby's favorite ride is Mt Everest.  It is also one of Drew's favorites...just not THE favorite.  You can see the Yedi Mountain in the background of this picture.  They rode it 5 times that day!!

Abby was so very happy that she was tall enough to ride it now!!  And she had the quote of the day...as we finished the first ride she said "That was AWESOME, I am NOT doing it again!!"  :-)  Contrary to what she said, she did it again and again and again...and on Thursday she cried when she rode it for the last time.  

  While Brent and I took turns riding with the big kids, Daniel enjoyed his own bag of Doritos and Apple Juice!

 Brent rode Dinosaur with the kids...Abby kept her eyes shut through the whole ride!

 And to finish the day the kids went on the Kali River Rapids...and were soaked when they were through!

 Daniel and I played together and waited for them to finish.  This was pretty much the look on his face the whole day...

I think it is safe to say he had a VERY happy 3rd birthday!  We love you so much Daniel!!!  Happy birthday Little Buddy!
